Ann Voskamp

I have been where you are. 19 months and counting since we left our precious city and best friends of 10 years to move to a small farm town far away from anything. Many days have good moments but still are bad days.

But God is gracious. He gives us glimpses into His glory. To see a mother begin to pray for her children and then commit her family to God. Seeing a marriage saved because an unbelieving man's wife was encouraged. To experience a personal heart change because I watched someone love above and beyond.

God is gracious. It is ONLY God's love that prompts us to lay down our life for a friend, a friend not yet known. (John 15:13)

Mourn, for Christ promised comfort. But rejoice...have hope, for hope does not disappoint. (Romans 5:3-5)

To God be the Glory, all days. Blessings on your journey.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
